Since women are a part of the underrepresented gender in Cebu's knowledgebase, this campaign pays tribute to women including Cebuanos of past, present and future to be represented, to be recognized and to be given spotlight in the Cebuano Wikipedia. Projects such as Wikiwomen, Women In Red,improve Wikidata items related to women, women's works, and women's issues, Visible Wikiwomen, and Wikiwomen Cebu will be given highlight this time.
We are trying to solve the lack of content and proper recognition of women in Cebuano Wikipedia. Our approach is to work with knowledge sources, academe, libraries, museums and other historical publications and sources that may provide significant data for women and their societal contributions and upload them to the Cebuano Wikipedia or translated them from other languages into Cebuano language.
