We have recently started a meetup series with the Wikimedia Affiliates and community members from the South Asian region. The main goal of the meetup series is to promote and support cross-border collaboration between several Wikimedians and affiliate members in the SAARC region to find joint strategies to help each other's language communities. The meetup series is designed to engage the community and affiliate members in real-life discussions, photowalks, and other Wikimedia related events like WikiWomen Meetup, Gala Dinner with stakeholders. This event will help us strengthen the capacity of our community members and motivate them to contribute to Wikimedia projects.

- Wikimedia Affiliates Meetup: In order to choose the affiliates and community members from the SAARC region, we will contact them and ask for their availability. We will also ask them to discuss before concluding their delegates in their respective village pump or appropriate communication channels.
- Photowalk : We will conduct a joint photowalk at nearby cultural or natural sites and upload
- Other Wiki related event : We will arrange a WikiWomen Meetup with only female participants (Women members of Maithili Wikimedians and Visiting affiliates) and social event to aware and inform the stakeholders (College authorities, Government Employees, Political post holders, Journalists etc) about the Wikimedia Movement.

We will recruit an event manager to conduct the event as well as manage the accounting-related work and expenditures and communicate with team members at a decided time. For the photography and videography of each and every event and to upload the media files to Wikimedia Commons, we will recruit a dedicated photographer to accomplish the work. For the above-mentioned work, we mutually decided to recruit two people for this job.

We will rent a private workspace in Rajbiraj to gather in-person meetings. After the event, we will engage with the delegates via a social media telegram group.
