Part 1: Project and impact
edit1. Describe the implemented activities and results achieved. Additionally, share which approaches were most effective in supporting you to achieve the results. (required)
The project achieved great success by introducing Wikipedia and Wikidata to Nigerian transpersons for the first time. The project also managed to engage a wider audience, including straight people, to contribute to Transpersons Nigeria content on the Wikimedia projects via the contest. One of the most effective approaches was building a strong partnership with the trans organization, which helped in creating excitement and awareness about the project. This partnership enabled the project to reach a wider audience and ensured that transpersons were not left behind in contributing to the Wikimedia projects. Overall, the project was a great success, and the implemented activities and approaches were instrumental in achieving the desired results.

Part 2: Learning
edit4. In your application, you outlined some learning questions. What did you learn from these learning questions when you implemented your project? How do you hope to use this learnings in the future? You can recall these learning questions below. (required)
You can recall these learning questions below: How to better support trans, non-binary, and intersex persons in Nigeria.
This project has done an outstanding job of shedding light on the experiences and challenges faced by various trans, non-binary, and intersex individuals in Nigeria. By carrying out this project, I have learned how to better support them by providing them with a platform to share their stories.
Through this approach, we can raise awareness and help create a more inclusive society. By listening to their stories and allowing them to contribute to Wikipedia, they can better convey their experiences to the world.
5. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities? This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences? (required)
The project activities proceeded as planned without any surprises. However, one noteworthy aspect was the increased willingness of trans organizations to collaborate with us, as they recognized the overall value of the project. The date factor was also a challenge due to time constraints, as the earlier date was cancelled and prevented us from getting more participants for the latter day.
6. What is your plan to share your project learnings and results with other community members? If you have already done it, describe how. (required)
We plan to create a diff to share what we've learned and a meta Wikimedia report.
