Wiki advocate the youth campaign's focuses on bridging significant gaps on Wikimedia projects on human rights campaign in hausa language - both in terms of content about these subjects and in terms of participation by people from these groups.The project is designed to leverage Wikipedia's role as a global repository for the dissemination of Information to achieve accessible and fair online representation of LGBT rights group in nigeria and in Africa. It encourages the contribution of existing researched and verified information by queering communities to Wikipedia with the intent of readresing the systematic bias about LGBTQ community

we think that Wikipepia needs more and better contents on human rights campaign + LGBTQ This is a project that will train and engage queering wikimedians in Nigeria to contribute to contents related to the campaign's theme "Wikipepia human rights campaign's" in relation to queering Wikipepia. we also hope to increase the visibilities of LGBT issues on wikipedia in different languages and also build a basic for international understanding and solidarity between queering people Beyond this contribution, this is an opportunity to queering communities to ensure there is a good representation of stories depicting rights and the Environment in the Nigerian context on Wikipedia. There is also a possibility of partnership with them on a future projects

The wikipedia human rights campaign program will be organising three days workshop focused on introducing queering Wikipedians from local community from the process of editing Wikipedia. The aim is to expand improve and create articles on Wikipedia related to human rights+ LGBTQ in Nigeria Day-1 will be an introduction day in which the participants will be train on how to create account ,edits and create articles and also making the participants familiar with wikipedia in relation to human rights contents Day-2 & 3 will be the main day for editing, translation,and articles creations

This edit-a-thon will mobilizes a community of queering wikimedians to create and update the human rights +LGBT related contents on Wikipedia. We expect this event to help strengthen the gab and participation of queering communities and also raise awareness of the goals among new users
