This project seeks to structure and document activities around the Ghanaian elections on the 7 December, 2024. Prior to the election we will have a series of training activities both online and offline on what kind of contribution we will be looking at during the elections. Also we will have a speaker session as well where we will invite speakers to have deeper insight conversation when it comes to activities related to elections and how we can seek campaigns that we are engaging.
These activities organized prior to the elections will seek to the elections will essentially increase capacity of volunteers on structure and how to contribute to wikipedia, wikimedia commons, wikidata,wikivoyage and wikiquote.
You might ask yourself why we want to contribute to this project. Talking about the elections or contributing to elections related activities on wikimedia project is engaging, the reason is because when we move to the ground there are lots of quotes made my presidential candidates,there is a lot happening in various regions of which would be captured under wikivoyage and also audio visual activities will be captured on the election grounds as well.

Partnerships - We are looking forward to engage partner with open communities in Ghana and communities that are election focus, some of the communities we will be engaging on this project is Open Foundation West Africa, Open Knowledge Ghana and more.
Capacity Building - We will be having a series of training session prior to the election. This training session will look at training community members and volunteers on how to contribute to election activities on wikipedia, wikimedia commons, wikidata, wikivoyage and wikiquotes. These series of training will acquire effort of experience ecosystem open advocate within the open space and beyond

The target participants are volunteers within the Ghanaian and non Ghanaian who are interested in activities around the elections and are looking forward to contribute to elections related activities and beyond. We will engage them via mails, social media platform like whatsapp, twitter and tiktok
