Extension request

edit

New end date

edit

March 31, 2020

Rationale

edit

The Smithsonian is a large and distributed organization so it took longer to coordinate the specified 4 in-person events and 3-5 microcrowdsourcing events given the museums' already packed event schedule. We have identified spaces and confirmed a microcrowdsourcing event at the National Portait Gallery February 2020, and an in-person edit-a-thon in March at the Smithsonian American Art Museum, so we feel this extension allows us to fulfill the scope of the grant.

@Digitaleffie: Thanks for your extension request and working to identify and secure alternative spaces to run your proposed events given the museum's packed schedule. This extension until March 31st is approved. Your final report will be now be due on April 30th, 2020. With thanks, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 16:11, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
@Digitaleffie: It looks like your final report was set to be due to on 29 May 2020 on your grant agreement, even before your extension request-- would you like more time to prepare the final report given this extension request? I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 16:21, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
@I JethroBT (WMF): 29 May 2020 works well. Thank you! digitaleffie
