Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
The number of people who turned out for the event was awesome it showed that more people are now aware of the movement in Arusha. The existing editors were able to share what they already knew about editing with the new editors shoeing that they understand and are willing to create more awareness of the Wikimedia movement
- What did not work so well?
Despite getting the venue in the middle of the city but still the participants arrived late at the event because of the weather
- What would you do differently next time?
As I have created social media pages on Facebook and Instagram, the next time I will involve taking more quality photos to post to create more awareness of the movement to have more people join the community and spread the Wikimedia Movement through the whole of Tanzania.
