Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?


Yes, the main purpose of this grant was to achieve a website for Noircir Wikipédia and Ennegreciendo Wikipedia, and it has been reached
The website is intuitive, coherent with the design made for the project thanks to the first rapid grant given by the Wikimedia Foundation, the agenda has all our future events on it with the respective time zone in order to be reachable for wikimedians/participants across the continents and the ressources are all on Creative Commons Share Alike licence.

Pay 5 years of hosting domain only 4 years of hosting domain were pay due to the price higher than expected. The domains are hosted by Infomaniak, leader on the domain and based in the same country as the founders, Switzerland.
Pay 2 years of name domain for Noircirwikipedia.org and Ennegreciendo.org the achieved outcome and the target one are the same for this as plannified.

  • What worked well?


The website designer worked very well in symbiosis with the two co-founders of Noircir and Ennegreciendo. She was proactive, effective and answered quickly to our demands.

  • What did not work so well?


we would like to insert some ressource-content created by Whose Knowledge on the website and we have not found yet how to proceed. The ideal would be to have a preview in our website, the title of the document, and that the viewer could click on the preview and be re-directed to Wikimedia Commons file. As an exemple, this one: commons:File:Cómo subir imágenes a Wikimedia Commons.pdf

  • What would you do differently next time?


Next time we will include in the budget a line for bank cost. Indeed, we did not planify the fact that the bank would debit us 22.-chf for doing an international transaction to the designer.
