Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
What worked well?
- This created a long-starting partnership with Innov8 hub as they were our host and excited about the project.
- The participants were so excited about the project.
- The project provided an avenue to reactivate the Abuja hub of the Wikimedia Usergroup Nigeria
- The support from our experienced wikimedians was valuable in organising the training.
What did not work so well?
- The earlier partnered organization couldnt work out as they got busy and hence we had to look for another partnered host which made it difficult at a time.
- We couldnt make so much contributions on-wiki due to IP block.
What would you do differently next time?
- Have multiple organizations as partner.
- Ensure we have a talk with IP admin for an excemption for subsequent edit-a-thon.
