editTo celebrate this global event, we are planning and discussing with the community members to organize this event in different parts of the country. As far as our community discussion is concerned, we are reaching out to our community members from eastern part to western part of the country. So far, we have confirmed 4 places in Nepal to organize this event and we are expecting to add one or two more places. We have taken the safety measure to conduct this event amid the pandemic. For each place where we are going to organize this event, we have fixed the maximum number of participants to 9. We are currently working on the presentation and other stuff to conduct the event smoothly.
Activities
edit- What kind of event(s) or activities are you planning to hold for your Wikipedia 20 event? Please let us know if these events include a meetup, edit-a-thons, workshops, photowalks, contests, or any kind of campaign.
- We’ll be conducting a celebration event and a brief introductory presentation about Wikipedia movements to motivate the participants.
- How will you promote and let participants know about your Wikipedia 20 event? Please describe or link to the spaces you will be using to inform your community about your activities. Please note there are resources available to support your communications for Wikipedia 20 events.
- We have already informed the Nepali Wikipedia community about the event on Nepali Wikipedia Village Pump and Telegram Group with our in-wiki platform. Besides that, we’re preparing various promotional posts to communicate via social media accounts.
- How will you keep participants engaged after the event is over? How will you be sharing photos, videos, or other content from your activities after they are completed?
- We will keep in touch with the participants engaged through the available social media pages via direct queries and random posts
- Are you running any in-person events or activities? If so, you will need to complete the steps outlined on the Risk Assessment protocol related to COVID-19. When you have completed these steps, please provide a link to your completed copy of the risk assessment tool below:
- We are organizing this event with a maximum 9 participants at each event venue with all necessary criteria and precautions needed.

- Under the event timeline we’ll be organizing as much as more virtual events along with the offline too.
