Goals
editDid you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
We have created many more articles than expected but from less number of editors, ironically. So we are happy that project has good production, but we are concerned about its ability to attract new editors.
Outcome
editPlease report on your original project targets.
Target outcome | Achieved outcome | Explanation |
Number of participant: 40 each month | Not met, only 50 for two months (7/2018: 28, 9/2018: 22) |
Less than expected, perhaps because the topic is not popular and difficult to translate |
Number of newly created/edited: 450 each month | 7/2018: 796 9/2018: 535 |

Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
- The number of created articles is much more than expected in each month (147% in total).
- What did not work so well?
- The number of registered editors is less than expected in each month, perhaps because the women in Africa is not a very popular topic (compared with science topics). Only seasoned translators has participated.
- What would you do differently next time?
- We will be practical and expect less than 30 editors next time (if any). For the purpose of recruiting new editors, perhaps another kind of promotion (editathon or mass training) could be more suitable.
