1. Are you doing one editathon or training or a series of editathons or trainings?
- We are planning an editathon, a hackathon and talks about Gender Gap in a single event. The event will be held with the assistance of SheSharp and Open Knowledge Greece.
2. How will you let your community know about the event? Please paste links below to where relevant communities have been notified of your proposal, and to any other relevant community discussions.

- Open labs (Press release in English)
- Facebook event
- Annouchment in Why Women Don't Edit Wikipedia blog

We also sent emails and organisd hangouts meetings with Wiki Loves Women, WikiWomenCamp, WikiDonne. Event was also advertised in Wikimedia CEE Meeting 2017 in Warsaw, Poland.
3. Do you have experienced Wikimedia editors to lead the event?
- On our team we have three experienced editors to help lead the editathon and to support participants and three developers who will help lead the hackathon. We have organised similar events (gender gap editathon, hackathon) last year.
Magioladitis has been organising similar workshops all over Greece for the last 12 months, Geraki is a long-standing editor and event organiser, ArielGlenn will also join the team and they are very experienced programmer and WMF staff.
4. Do participants have the equipment or skills needed to participate and contribute high quality content? If not, how will you support them?
- Online mentors will send a welcome message to new editors after the event. They will monitor the work done by new editors during and after the event so they can answer questions and offer feedback.
5. How will you engage participants after the event(s)?
- Online mentors will send a welcome message to new editors after the event. They will monitor the work done by new editors during and after the event so they can answer questions and offer feedback.
6. Is there anything else you want to tell us about this project?
- Magioladitis has a WMF grant to organise Wikimedia workshops to help reduce the gender gap and this event will be part of this series of workshops.
- We are also planing to meet with the collaborating teams and staff the morning after the event, for a post-event breakfast and talk about how the event went, ways we can improve and ideas for future events.
