Goals

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

We added several photos to Wikimedia commons..
We were able to create and improve articles related to cultural heritage and monuments in Ghana on Wikipedia.
New editors were recruited and trained on how to contribute to Wikimedia commons.
Existing editors contributed to Wikimedia commons.
We were able to recruit professional photographers to the Wikimedia Movement.

Images used on Wikimedia projects: 15%	1.23%	1.23% of the photos were used on Wikimedia projects. Most of the participants channeled their attention to taking photos and uploading to the detriment of using them on Wikimedia projects.

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

What worked well?

Photo walks are usually fun, this one was not an exception. Experienced Wikimedians were able to carry along new recruits to go through the processes.

What did not work so well?

During the upload session, it required more participants instead of just 10 for a session in order to speed up the upload process.

There were some few instances where we had internet fluctuations.

What would you do differently next time?

I would put more participants in the upload session or increase the number of upload sessions and also test internet viability at locations of the upload sessions before the due date for the uploads.

Due to the low percentage of photos used on Wikimedia projects I, in subsequent projects would give equal attention to all targets set in other to be able to achieve them.
