Learning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
We did not face enough resistance from tour guides who are known for giving people on such projects tough time.
- What did not work so well?
The fact that we could not visit Nzulezu Stilt Settlement
- What would you do differently next time?
Spend two days on the project because we thought we could have done everything in a day.
Finances
editGrant funds spent
editPlease describe how much grant money you spent for approved expenses, and tell us what you spent it on.
The usergroup changed $1200 into GHS5088 and also added unspent funds from previous grants (GHS1924.191 + GHS 500.15 = GHS 2,424.34) to give to the teams. The rate was $1 = GHS4.2. We have sent bank statements to show this. We have $93.11 left for this particular grant.
The south team was given GHS 2500.The team going to the north of Ghana called off the trip so didn't spend their quota.
Cash therefore: GHS5088 + GHS 2,424.34 = GHS 7512.34 and then $93.11
We gave Bright GHS 2500. Meaning GHS 7512.34 - GHS 2500 = GHS 5012.34
Grantee has returned his unspent of GHS 1064 so we have unspent total of = GHS 6076 and $93.11
