Goals
editDid you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?
Wikimédiens du Bénin User Group has organized in this year 2020, the second edition of Wiki loves monuments photo contest in Benin. Thanks to our local community, although the COVID-19 impact, we've reached some of our goals. The contributions helped to improve the quality of Benin monuments photos on Wikimedia Commons, and articles about the monuments on Wikipedia. Due to the COVID pandemic, all the activities were online. Overall, we are satisfied with how the project went.

editLearning
editProjects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:
- What worked well?
We are satisfied with the number of uploaded photos and the variety of monuments photos we've got. More than 500 photos and 60 monuments reached, for 500 photos of 15 monuments expected[1].
- What did not work so well?
We haven't achieved involving at least 25 participants in the photo contest. Only 17 participants had uploaded photos during the contest period. Also, the number of illustrations used on Wikipedia is 33, against 75 expected.
Due to the Outreachdashboard downtime, we could not be able to track participants' activities.
- What would you do differently next time?
We have to find ways to engage more participants in online activities. We could add prizes for editing, to encourage participation in using photos on other projects and Wikipedia article editing.
