Extension request

edit

Midpoint report due date extension approval

edit

Noting here that the Grantee's request for Midpoint report due date extension to 3 December 2018 has been approved. Approval is posted here. -- JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 20:02, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Extension request

edit

New end date

edit

30th April 2019 with report during May

Rationale

edit

There was a delay in starting the project due to Wikimania and initial issues with getting the money to the teams in time, due to the SA reserve bank processes. It has also taken a while for the Tanzanian team to get organised and up-to-speed (which they now are). This extension will allow both teams to build up momentum through the 4 months, and host events around the International Day of Women on the 8th March. Islahaddow (talk) 08:44, 20 December 2018 (UTC)

Approval

edit

@Islahaddow: I've approved this extension, thanks for explaining the reasons for the request around logistical delays and your involvement at Wikimania. The final report will now be due on May 31st 2019. I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 15:42, 21 December 2018 (UTC)

2nd Extension Request

edit

New end date

edit

end date: 31st May 2019
report delivery: 30th June 2019

Rationale

edit

Due to a delay in the acceptance of the Mid-term report and the delivery of the second tranche of the grant, momentum was halted and events were delayed over February. Extending the deadline to May would provide an extra month to get the teams back up to speed. Islahaddow (talk) 10:04, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

31 May 2019 end date approved

edit

I am approving a new end date of May 31, 2019, with a report delivery due date of 30 June 2019, and apologies that second disbursement was delayed until February 20, impacting your timeline. Marti (WMF) (talk) 06:05, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

Extension request

edit

New end date

edit

30th July, 2019

Rationale

edit

Need to extend the global aspect of the project to the end of June (local activities mostly ceased in May, but global activities are ongoing). This allowed us to host the Women in Sport online drive as well as complete a few other things.

30 July 2019 end date approved

edit

Per your emailed request (which I've replicated above), I am approving a new end date of July 30, 2019, with Final Report due 30 days later. Marti (WMF) (talk) 02:16, 18 June 2019 (UTC)

Extension request

edit

New final report due date

edit

Noting here that, per Islahaddow's request, the final report and expense documentation/receipts due date has been extended to 30 September 2019. -- JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 17:10, 23 September 2019 (UTC)

Final report due date extension to 18 October 2019

edit

Noting here that, per Islahaddow's email request, the final report and expense documentation/receipts due date has been extended to 18 October 2019. This will give her time to complete the final grant expense paid today (8 October 2019), since it will take a few days for the reserve bank of South Africa to approve the foreign transfer. -- JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 16:29, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
