Art+Feminism is a campaign improving coverage of cis and transgender women, feminism and the arts on Wikipedia. From coffee shops and community centers to the largest museums and universities in the world, Art+Feminism is a do-it-yourself and do-it-with-others campaign teaching people of all gender identities and expressions to edit Wikipedia. On May 23 and May 24, 2018, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Library will hold an edit-a-thon to improve the coverages of vision and transgender women, feminism and the arts on Wikipedia. As an experienced facilitator who has led several edit-a-thon in Nigeria and other events and outreach program, I'll be traveling to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Enugu State to help facilitate the program

The primary goal of this edit-a-thon includes but not limited to

  1. Increasing number of female contributors to Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects
  2. Increase the number of female articles on Wikipedia
  3. To improve existing contents about women on Wikipedia
  4. To train librarians on how to contribute to Wikipedia
