Grants:Simple/Applications/Wikimedia South Africa/2019/staffingplan
This page describes the staffing plan for 2019 of Wikimedia South Africa(WMZA). This staffing plan is created to clarify and better execute the first hiring process of Wikimedia South Africa should it ever happen.
Wikimedia ZA intends to hire a single contractor for the 2019 grant year. The primary purpose of the contractor is to implement and report on the Wiki Loves Earth project. The secondary purpose is to support South African language outreach efforts in support of the chapter's language objectives. The third purpose is to provide administrative assistance to the chapter.
Period of contract: 480 hours over a three to four month period. March - June 2019.
Since the project will primarily focus on supporting Wiki Loves Earth 2019 (talking place in May) in addition to other WMZA projects such as furthering the chapter's language outreach efforts the contract period will focus on March, April, May and into June 2019.
Although this is not the firs time that WMZA has hired a full time employee the chapter would like to experiment with hiring a full time staff member in the future. This is being done to test the rediness of the chapter to take on a full time employee or hire contractors
