Option 1: Shared Experience: What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?

I learned a lot during Wikimania 2019, and I tried to share as much as possible. Here are some of the most useful things I learned at Wikimania and shared with my local community.

1. During the conference, I made notes and summaries of the events I attended. Throughout Wikimania, I was publishing them on the site of my chapter, Wikimedia Ukraine. See wmua:Вікіманія 2019 (this page was also expanded by other Wikimania participants from Ukraine; the sections added by me are marked respectively). Also, I published some of the most interesting highlights on Wikimedia Ukraine's Facebook page (some examples: 1, 2, 3).
2. After Wikimania, I published a blog post based on some ideas I learned. Written in Ukrainian for Wikimedia Ukraine's blog, this article is devoted to the overview of new research findings about Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects, which were presented at Wikimania.

Delivering my part of the session

Connecting with other Wikimedians is one of the most important things at Wikimania, so as always it's hardly possible to list all interesting people I met with. Overall, I communicated the most with folks from the CEE region; people participating in the Environment space where I delivered a session; people working on GLAM (through my attendance of the European GLAMwiki Coordinators meeting) and Wiki Loves contests (I worked with those members of Wiki Loves Earth international team who were present at Wikimania, as well as attended the Wiki Loves meetup to learn more about other contests of this type).

My talk at Wikimania was an especially interesting and useful experience in terms of connecting with people. Along with three other members of the Wiki Loves Earth organizing team, I led a session titled "How Wiki Loves Earth benefits (and harms) nature" within the Environment space. Around 20 people attended it, and there was an active discussion during the Q&A part of the session. It was particularly useful in terms of future collaborations as the discussion gave birth to a few ideas on improving Wiki Loves Earth in the future; we have continued to discuss them after Wikimania, particularly with the Environment space's leader Lukas Mezger (user Gnom).
