Outcome

edit
  • It is believed that the coming of AI will contribute to the improvement of articles, image creation and various media, both images and sounds. However, AI still has copyright issues and stability in processing that may have bugs because it is in its early stages. beginning of innovation.
  • Seeing the way medical metadata is written in Wikidata opens up new perspectives for the community.
  • I served as one of the judges for the Wiki Loves Earth 2023 in Thailand photo contest.

Connections

edit
  • Irvin Parco and Maffeth Opiana : On various educational activities in the Philippines.
  • Jessie Mi : We talked about the current Wikimedia Taiwan movement.

Next steps

edit
  • Organize Wikimedia Thailand/EasternCamp activities. To expand one-to-one access to Wikipedia outside of Bangkok and surrounding areas.
  • Promote community members to have more opportunities to access GLAM activities.
  • Plans to nominate more users to become Thai Wikipedia administrators and Thai sister projects administrators to support the growth of each project.
  • I had the opportunity to help Thai Wikimedians who received scholarships from Wikimedia Thailand by providing advice and consultation on current community guidelines and policies.

Anything else

edit
  • Some of the email communications between organizers and attendees are quite confusing. Due to multiple participants sending emails. This is often obscured by messages that are not relevant to other participants by appearing on each other's email messages. And it caused some participants to worry about where their key messages were missing.
  • What struck me was that most of the participants were friendly according to the Friendly space policies, although there may have been previous concerns about the basic knowledge of individuals who had not participated before.
