The were about 50 people who were at the talk and I was talking under the topic Wikipedia and Africa's role . After my talk I further had a radio and TV interview, video and podcasts of which will be sent to me soon I was told. We had an editathon the day after the talk 3 people were there.

Outcome

Option 1: Shared Experience: What is one way you shared something from your experience with your community (either locally or globally), after the event?
Add a link here to a blog post or newsletter you wrote about your participation afterwards, or to a meet-up you organized to share your experience with your local community.

I opened an account in 2011 but started being actively involved in terms of editing in 2013. One of the reasons why I was invited to come and talk was to share my experience on how I joined the Wikimedia movement and what keeps me editing after all these years. Challenges I may have face and how do I deal with them. This is also a question of Wikipedia being user friendly for new users and and if anyone anywhere can still contribute in the website (especially in the English Wikipedia) without their articles being deleted.

I've answered a question on quora about my TEDx experience here on this link.

Anything else

I was hoping the video from my talk would be out before the 14 days due date of this report but it seems from the TEDx organisers it will take some 2 months or so for editing before it's posted on YouTube, so on the interim I can't wait that long before I submit my report however I will attach it to this report as soon as it comes out.
