Proposed Participation
editI am Richa Jain, a Google Summer of Code 2013 student under Wikimedia Foundation. I have been working on mediawiki since Januray 2013 and have made Extension: Annotator during my internship. I have been invited to deliver a talk on this extension at FOSSASIA 2014. Since the extension was just a "prototype" as part of a GSoC project, it needs further development now. For this, it is important to understand how the extension works currently, so I would like to explain about this project and its code architecture and also discuss the possible features and their implementations during my talk.
Goal and Expected Impact
editFOSSASIA 2014 will be a nice opportunity to share knowledge and ideas with people from various countries and my talk on this extension will really encourage the new and young developers to take part in the further development of this project and thus maintain it properly
