My presentation was scheduled on 19th August 2015 at Cypress, Golden Gate Club of San Francisco in the OpenSym 2015 conference. The full paper of my presentation "Collaborative OER Course Development – Remix and Reuse Approach" can be accessed at Proceedings of OpenSym 2015. The paper has also been submitted to Commons, kindly access via the link here. I presented the use of four Wikibooks namely Introduction to Software Engineering, A-level Computing, Embedded Systems and Embedded Control Systems Designin OER course creation. During the talk, I presented the steps involved and walk through the collaborative activities for Wikibooks integration, explaining book's progress, discussions, questions and answers held for newcomers engagement on the navigation of the Wikibooks and how team members contributes to Wikibooks content.

During my presentation, I have highlighted the webinars and sharing sessions for Wikibooks and encourage the participants to take part in the future. The attendees are interested to join the sharing sessions for more in-depth understanding of OER creation, benefits of Wikibooks and how collaborative approach can be used to create open access courses or books. I have volunteered to initiate the coming sharing sessions for interested participants focusing on OER creation and topics covering "How to use Wikibooks/Starting a New Wikibook" in the following sharing session. In addition, the initiative of OER/Wikibooks sharing sessions is also brought up during the keynote held in Hawthrone on the last day to engage with more interested conference attendees. A learning pattern on OER course creation using collaborative approach is available here entitled "OER Creation using Wikibooks. This learning pattern is to assist the faculty members, course specialists, researchers, teachers, instructors, open textbook authors and the community in creation of free online content books. The learning pattern is hope to provide suggested solutions, steps and valuable insights on sharing the knowledge of creating free textbook aligning to curriculum as well as reaching out to more interested individuals in developing more quality OER.
