April 12 Proposal Deadline: Reminder to change status to 'proposed'

edit

@Jeblad: The deadline for Individual Engagement Grant (IEG) submissions this round is April 12th, 2016. To submit your proposal, you must (1) complete the proposal entirely, filling in all empty fields, and (2) change the status from "draft" to "proposed." As soon as you’re ready, you should begin to invite any communities affected by your project to provide feedback on your proposal talkpage.

See you at the IEG proposal help session tomorrow! I'm also happy to set up an individual session tomorrow if needed.

This was originaly a follow-up to Grants:IEG/Lua libs for behavior-driven development, but it seems like it would be independent. At the same time it could create confusion to have to proposals that seems to be about the same thing. It is actually two slightly different ways to do testing. Because of that I chose to delay this until the next round. — Jeblad 07:53, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
@Jeblad: Thanks for the clarification-- I had meant to ask you about what connection, if any, there was between these two proposals. Just to note, this is actually the last round of Individual Engagement Grants, and we will be moving to a new program called Project Grants, for which an Open Call will begin on July 1st. I expect the application process to largely similar to the one here, so it will just be a matter of copying and pasting content. Looking forward to seeing your proposal next round. @I JethroBT (WMF): Nice, that gives me time to implement some basic concept tests to see if this can work. — Jeblad 22:45, 15 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Things like "BDD-code" and "BDD-module" are mentioned, without a link nor a definition. Nemo 10:20, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Return to "IEG/Lua libs for acceptance test-driven development" page.
