@LouMycroft: hi and thanks for your idea! I know that part of the intended deliverables from the current Art+Feminism grant is the development of materials for both trainers and participants that can be used and adapted by others wanting to run similar events. Also, the plusfeminism.org domain was specifically purchased in order to allow "the set up of various thematic editathons (e.g. Art+Feminism, Medicine+Feminism) as subdomains (i.e. art.plusfeminism.org, medicine.plusfeminism.org)" - maybe your idea could work as one of the first, an Education+Feminism spin-off? I wonder if it might be worthwhile for you to get in touch with some of the Art+Feminism organizers, or even some of the individuals involved with the A+F event held in nearby Wakefield? I'd also love to see more details in your proposal related to how you could maybe leverage some of the great materials and infrastructure coming out of the A+F initiative. -Thepwnco (talk) 16:35, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

Additional comments from the Committee: Given the significant and sustained success of the Art+Feminism program, adapting the program model to other domains (such as education theory, as proposed here) may have potential for effective impact and scalability. Potential for impact on content, but would like to see more information about how it could be sustained and scaled after the grant ends. Would like to see the venue costs lowered, perhaps by hosting the events in a space provided by the educational institutes? Also, would like to see volunteer facilitators. Suggest seeking more community support. UK Chapter has a plan to address the gender gap and may have capacity to assist with this project Good offline community support, but would like to see more online support from the existing Wikipedia communities. Would love to see community notifications and collaborations with existing WikiProjects such as WikiProject Education. Would like to know more about the project team and their experiences with Wikipedia. The budget seems reasonable. Would like to see more than a one-day event. Would like to see a more fleshed-out proposal in order to have more confidence in its executability. Unclear how the team will be able to effectively monitor citations to women educators, since it would require ongoing access to all assignments created by TeachNorthern students, some of whom may not be interested in participating in the program. The measures of success could be more focused on impacting the gender gap on Wikipedia. The metrics for success seem hard to track and could be more focused on the Wikimedia movement Project would benefit from on the ground local assistance from Wikimedia UK Chapter. Recommend that the participants consider partnering with WikiProject Education and developing a series of workshops.
