Question about grant funds spent and funds remaining

From reading your financial report, it appears WMHU spent 5,831,084 HUF on its activities in 2012. Is this amount the same as the amount of grant funds spent?

After you confirm the amount spent, we may then deduct the underspend on this grant from the 2nd installment of funds for WMHU's 2013 FDC allocation, if you agree that would be the easiest way to handle the return of the funds.

Yes. WMHU got 10M HUF from grants, spent 5.8M, remained 4.2M. Feel free to deduct this (4,173,168) from the remaining and transfer only the amount above this. --Vince (talk) 07:28, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for the reply, Vince. In fact, the total grant amount to WMHU was 10,500,000 HUF. WMHU was sent only 10,004,252 HUF because WMHU owed WMF the difference because of unspent funds on previous grants. This difference, however, should be included in the total grant amount. We'd therefore calculate the remainder to be deducted from the next installment to be 4,668,916 HUF. We're happy to answer any questions about the differences in amounts if you have any. I fully trust your calculations; unfortunately I am unaware of most of the things happpened/discussed/etc. between WMF and WMHU before Dec 2012, inclunding grants history. Please let me know if there are any miscalculations in our financial report. --Vince (talk) 21:33, 9 July 2013 (UTC)

We did want to ask about the item "Board travel" in your financial report. It seems you spent about twice as much as expected. Would you mind offering a detailed breakdown of the travel included so we better understand this item? It would be much appreciated.
