Not funded
editHello JosefAnthony,
Thank you for submitting your grant application. We appreciate your interest in contributing to the mission of the Wikimedia Movement. We are continuously strengthening our grants review process, ensuring that grant funding is being invested towards impactful projects and efforts geared towards contributing to the mission of Wikimedia Movement in the most efficient and effective manner.
After a thorough review of your application, we have decided to not fund your Rapid Fund request. Here are the main reasons for our decision:
- We think that the project impact is not aligned with the requested budget. The main goal of the project is to improve Wikidata items. There is no clear understanding of what content will be improved and why it is important. Additionally, with 60 participant, the project aims at improving 300 Wikidata items, which we think is not a significant impact for the target Wikimedia project. We recommend considering Wikimedia Nigeria User Group microgrants to implement this project.

- Hi Davit, Thanks for your review and feedback.
- Content surrounding Nigeria universities, schools, hospitals, Prisons etc lacking relevant information on wikidata will be improved AS this is very important for information accuracy...more than 300 items will surely be improved, we are looking at above 1000 items. All my pass project has been above 1000 total edit...Kindly consider my proposal, Thanks JosefAnthony (talk) 15:36, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
