Hello @Favourdare123, thanks for submitting this Rapid Fund request. We reviewed your proposal and we decided to approve it in the amount of 5,379,670 NGN (3,800 USD).

• In the report, it will be important to highlight the specific partnerships formed and their contribution to the initiative in a specific way. Avoid generalization.
• It will be important to have a tracking approach that shows the participants based on location and focus on the Wikimedia project to help in better understanding the impact outcomes of the project. In the report, we hope to see how you are tracking the contributions of newcomers to better learn how the approach of work is contributing to newcomers in the region.
• Please be strategic in how you invite the youth to participate by also taking into consideration how they will continue participating in the projects beyond your intervention. That should inform your recruitment and outreach approach and also your plan for how you will continue to support the participants beyond the activities
• It is unclear how a 1- day in-person training will help catalyze the achievement of objectives and achievements you want an individual to access - given that it takes time for newcomers to learn the policies, their application and make meaningful quality contributions.
• There is an opportunity for you to review your incentives approach. About $1000 is going towards prizes and merchandize - this can be reviewed.

Hi Davit thank you for reviewing my grant proposal, and I will take into consideration with all you have make mention of and as for the one day training event,is mainly focused on Already existing editors and for the new ones there will be room for an online training before the physical training to prepare the new editors and also there will be an online reviewal training to review the impact of the training.
