Grants talk:Project/Rapid/Art+Feminism 2020 Sanothimi Campus
Comments from WMF
editHello Nawaraj Ghimire, thank you for submitting this Rapid Grant request and for running the Art+Feminism campaign at the Sanothimi Campus. We have reviewed your proposal and have the following comments and questions.
- Your budget includes 35 T-shirts. We are no longer supporting the acquisition of many T-shirts; we are typically only accepting 5-10 per event. The idea is that T-shirts should only be given to people leading the event or having exceptional contribution. Please reduce the number of T-shirts to 10 maximum and readjust your budget.
- On your proposal page I could not find the target Wikimedia project you’ll be working on. Could you please share with us which Wikimedia project you have as your target?
- On top of that, would you elaborate on the articles you’ll be editing? Is there a particular topic you’ll focus on and will you provide a list of suggested articles?
- Are there any other experienced editors at your campus that might support you during the events?
- One of the goals for your event is to develop leadership skills of participants. How are you planning to implement it?
Thank you for your contributions to Wikimedia projects! Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 06:15, 23 January 2020 (UTC)
Hello DSaroyan (WMF) Thanks for your Comment I would like to explain the answer in the following points
- Noted and improved as your suggestion adjust 10 number of T-shirts for two events
- We focused our event on improve article in Nepali language, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata
- I created an Outreach dashboard for monitoring and tracking the edits of the participants. focus on articles on arts and feminism issues. I will provide a list of articles improving and adding during the event which list will be tracked by the Outreach dashboard as well.
- I think the first event organized in this campus so the department of ICT Education,
Medhavi Gandhi (A+F ambassador for My region) and Local Wikimedians also support for the event
- I think Event will successfully only support group work and I always encourage group works this event also organized by the student itself and I only facilitate the students. The result of the participant will improve the leadership skills of participants.

- Hi Nawaraj Ghimire, thank you for your responses and for updating the proposal! Would you please elaborate on the aspects of group work that you think might have an impact on the leadership skills of participants? One approach to develop leadership skills of participants could be identifying and working with people who will want to facilitate Wikimedia events in the future. Are you considering to train those participants how to facilitate Wikimedia events? Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:55, 24 January 2020 (UTC)
