• 1) I like the idea of organizing follow-up online meetings to further support the participants and those who missed the main event. What resources have you used for these online edit-a-thons and how many follow-up meetings have you arranged?
• 2) What was your strategy of choosing and suggesting articles to the participants? Have you prepared a list of suggested articles or the participants came to your event with some ideas in their mind?
• 3) The diversity of created content is wonderful! It’s nice to see that after some challenges the article of Jota Mombaça has been also created successfully.
• 4) I’m glad to see that this event supported and increased your media presence, promoting you as a group on social media networks and beyond. Congratulations on establishing various valuable partnerships and on being integrated in the list of organizations of Feminista.pt!
• 5) I’m sorry for the difficulties and extra funds you had to spend at the customs. For your future event, consider including the customs taxes in your budget. You can also consider requesting free Wikimedia swag instead of purchasing it from the Wikipedia store.

Dear Davit, thanks a lot for reading our report carefully! It's amazing how mindful you are with the community. Also, thanks for the nice words.

Please find answers to your comments below (we've changed your bullet points to numbers to make it easier, we hope you don't mind):

1) Regarding the tech tools, so far we have used both Skype and Jitsi. We've had some internal discussion about pros and cons of each, and we will stick with skype for now, as it's easier to view participants' names/info and also because we had more audio issues with jitsi. After the in-person Edit-a-thon on March 08th we've held 3 online meetings: March 16th, 30th and April 13th. Around 10 people participated in each session. Both new and existing editors. We also have a permanent whatsapp group where we share questions and solutions that may arise before-after these online editing meetings.

2) We presented a list of suggested articles to be created to participants and we have stuck to it. To create this list we started by doing a general research on lusophone artivists and then we asked around for recommendations, having contacted Marta Lança from Buala, a digital platform/editorial on African Culture and Ondjango Feminista, a feminist activist collective from Angola. Finally, we contacted Paula Guerra, a portuguese curator to review and add suggestions to our first draft, as well as to join the event and give an introductory talk on the theme: Artivism. Since one of our goals was to “Collectively add or improve content on women, BIPOC, queer, non-binary, and immigrant art and artists”, we felt we needed to work with a previously researched and curated list, otherwise, us being mainly white-cis-heterossexual-urban-young women from the global north, we risked not being able to achieve this goal. For that reason we also added a series of tags in each one of the proposed artivists, so we could make a pre-final selection that was representative of the diversity we aimed for, and as to assure intersectionality. Finally, our main edit-a-thon instructor, Patricia Horrillo, reviewed the pre-final selection and made recommendations on which were the best articles to be published, according to Wikipedia criteria.

3) We are very humbled to hear that! And happy that we could finally overcome the difficulties with creating Jota Mombaça's article. Lately during our group meetings we have been facing different issues while creating new articles and have been learning a lot about Wikipedia community dynamics.

4) Thank you so much! We are also very happy with the increased presence and participation. We are now working on strengthening our communication efforts (social media wise, we have just created an Instagram profile for the group) and also on building new alliances in different formats. More news to come ;)
