editHi Ebenezer Mlay, thanks again for submitting the final report. It’s great to hear that the Wikipedia 20 celebration went as planned. We hope you had an amazing and memorable celebration. I have a few questions after reviewing your report:
- Which tools did you use to track the participants’ contributions? Could you please provide a link where you kept track of the contributions?
- Are you still in touch with the new participants? Do they continue to edit or participate in your events?
- Do you have any photos from your events? Could you please share them with us?
- What is the best memory of the Wikipedia 20 celebration in Arusha that you can share with us?
Thanks again for running this celebration! I am marking the report and expense documents as accepted. This grant is now complete. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:57, 16 April 2021 (UTC)
- Hi DSaroyan (WMF), thank you for reviewing and accepting my report. We had a fabulous celebration. Below are my responses to your questions:
- I used the Outreach Dashboard to track contributions. Here is the link -
- All the new contacts were added into the existing WhatsApp group for the Wikimedia Community Arusha and thus I am still in contact with them. Most of the new editors participate in my events.
- I have lots of photos from my events. I will share them with you when I get home this evening.
- This was the first time we were celebrating Wikipedia's birthday in Arusha, it meant a lot to me and the community. Best memory from the celebration is this was the first time the community learnt about Wikidata and they were passionately curious to know more and contribute more.
Thank you so much for your support! --CaliBen (talk) 07:06, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
