Hi FaithMwanyolo, thanks for submitting this grant application. I have a few questions and requests after reviewing it.

  • We now require that you let relevant Kenian Wikimedia communities know about this proposal. As mentioned in question #2, you are required to provide links to on-wiki pages where you have informed these communities about your proposed work. So, please notify your community in advance, also including a link to your grant proposal for their feedback. Add the links of these pages to your response to question #2.
  • For how many participants do you plan to cover the internet costs? Do you plan to cover the organizers' internet expenses too?
  • Please reduce the contingency costs by half.
  • What will be Leonard Kisuu's role in this project? Do you have other team members who are experienced in working on Wikimedia Commons?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 08:16, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello DSaroyan (WMF) , thank you for your feedback!

  • We communicate via WhatsApp and Telegram. Would you be okay with screenshots of this communication happening?
  • I plan to cover the internet costs of 25 participants and 2 organizers. So 27 people in total.
  • Juneakhwale has been part of the journey for 2 years now and is more than qualified to help me organize this photo contest. Find her contributions here

Please let me know if I need to clarify on anything else.

Warm regards, FaithMwanyolo 12:34 PM EAT.
