Hello HakanIST, thanks for submitting this Rapid Grant request. Congratulations on establishing the Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group! We are glad that this will be your first grant as an official Wikimedia affiliate. I have reviewed your proposal and have the following questions and comments.

• Can you please confirm that you will not organize any offline (in-person) events in terms of this contest?
• Given that this project is organized on behalf of the Wikimedians of Turkic Languages User Group, please change the grant type to “organization” and provide details of a secondary contact.
• Since the user group is not an incorporated organization, please leave blank the “nonprofit” line in the probox.
• In the Resources section you have mentioned that you would request funds for paid ads for social media promotion, though you have not included such expenses in the detailed budget. Could you please clarify this?
• Would you provide more details on how you will share the prizes among the Turkic language communities? Who will select the winners and how? Is the organizing team also going to be the jury?

Hello David,

Thanks for your feedback. I will try to specifically answer your questions.

• As we have already noted in our application, we will conduct only online contests. We will not hold any offline meetings, everything will be online.
• We fixed the error.
• Done!
• Sorry, this is our mistake and we have already fixed it. P.S. as for certificates, we will try to figure it out ourselves.
• For each Wikipedia there is a budget, with which we will purchase prizes by Wikipedia (these can be either gift cards from online stores or real prizes that we will send the winner by mail). The winners will be selected by the jury and each WP will have its own jury. Articles will be evaluated by specific criteria using the Fountain tool. Some members of the organizing committee may be members of the jury on certain Wikipedia, but not all members are everywhere.
