editHi, Nabin K. Sapkota, thank you for submitting this final report and your expense documentation. I have reviewed and accepted both. Congratulations, this grant is now complete! Below is some feedback on the report for you to review at your convenience.
Comments and Questions
- Congratulations on meeting or almost meeting all your goals! It sounds like this project was both successful and an important learning opportunity. Thank you so much for sharing photos from all the events! It was wonderful to see the participants and the activities.
- One of your goals was to increase women's involvement in community projects. Could you say a little more about how you achieved that through these events?
- You mentioned that you are struggling to achieve better results qualitatively.
- Why do you think that is the case?
- Do you have ideas for how you could encourage better quality results?
- You also mentioned the need for trainers to be trained before hosting events. This is a very important point; as you identified, the success of an event (from the perspective of your participants) depends largely on how skilled and capable the trainer is.
- In the future, if there are aspects of Wikimedia work that you would like to promote in your community but you lack a properly trained person to lead an event, what steps could you take to help a person (or group of people) get trained?
Thank you for all the hard work you put into this grant and for sharing what you learned with WMF and the community. We welcome any additional information or feedback you wish to provide!
