Not Funded
editHello Esh77, I'm marking this as not funded based on our email and talk page discussion on your previous submission for the same event. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 00:23, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- WJifar (WMF), I don't understand this answer -- I am yet to receive an answer to my query in the previous request as well. There is nothing in your online criteria that indicates that grants cannot be judged retroactively. I am therefore requesting that you judge my request according to merit and not reject it on a technicality. I have waited patiently for a reply. This can't be it. Please take the time to review my application properly and reply to my query about your online criteria. There is no justification to mark it the way you did without proper justification and without actually answering. I am also not aware of any email that was send answering this question. Respectfully, Shani Evenstein. 01:03, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hello Esh77, I understand that you're in an email correspondence with Katy. Since both this proposal and the previous proposal are the same. Whatever final decision is made we will make on the previous grant request. I will check with Katy on next steps on your behalf. Best regards, WJifar (WMF) (talk) 02:01, 26 March 2019 (UTC).
- I reached out to Katy before submitting the current request on time trying to get answrs from your very swamped team. She wasn't able to get back to me on time (before the end of the 15) so I resubmitted in order to not miss the deadline this month. So no,they are not identical. This grant was submitted on time. After that Katy did not answer my question about your online criteria not mentioning that grants are only given before the event, nor did anyone else from the team. This is a huge deal. If I am right and it does not appear in your criteria, there is no reason not to judge my request by merit amd if found worthy, reimburse retriactively. I short, I am still awaiting an answer from *someone* from your team about that (doesn't have to be Katy, who I reached out to only due to the critical timeline) and am still waitimg for a review of my application by merit, and not for a rejection on a technicality. Thank you, Shani Evenstein. 08:58, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
