Hello, Taniamaio. Thank you for your grant request. Given the proximity of your event start date, we will do our best to make a speedy decision.
- Would you please provide us with some more details about why your printing budget is so high? At €80, this works out to about €4 per participant. Normally we wouldn't fund printing costs this high for an event like this with 20 participants expected.
- It will be a good idea to continue organizing similar events at University of Salerno, to give participants a way to continue their involvement. Do you also plan to collect the names and usernames of participants so you can help them out on wiki and encourage them to join future events?
- Can you list the experienced Wikimedians who are involved with the edit-a-thon?
Thank you! Winifred Olliff (WMF Program Officer) talk 18:06, 27 February 2017 (UTC)
thank you for your answear!
- We will print flyers, posters and we will provide for copy all bibliographical materials of our library. We would like to print a photo of the event for each person as a souvenir of the day. We want buy also pens and block notes. If you consider that €80 is too much, we can eliminate something.
- We are already inviting people interested in the event to create a wikipedia account. During the event certainly we will help them with the registration on wikipedia with the aim of creating a group to get involved in the next events.
- We are wikimedia members since January 2017, but we collaborate with Wikipedia since 2015 with the project Progetto:GLAM/AIB_Campania. We have organized some events with our coordinator Claudio Forziati it:Utente:Uomovariabile. We are members of the Wikidonne usergroup with Camelia Boban it:Utente:Camelia.boban and we partecipated at the Día de las Escritoras 2016 Editathon in Naples.
