Comments from DSaroyan (WMF)

edit

Hi Haylad, thank you for submitting this final report. I’m glad to learn about the outcomes of the Afrocine contest in Nigeria. Thank you for running this contest in your community. I have reviewed the final report and have a few questions and comments:

  • How did you track the participants’ contributions? Could you provide a link where you have a list of the edited articles?
  • Who were the contest winners? Did you select them as initially planned?
  • Did you have any new participants and how many?
  • Thank you for empowering some participants to facilitate the events. How many of them did facilitate any training sessions?

I look forward to your response in order to move forward with the review process. Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 10:16, 8 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

We had a Jury team which consisted of User: Bilijin, User:Timmylegend and I. We reviewed the articles created and attached the required the points to the valid contributions. here's the link to the Jury process [4].
  3. . Yes we had new participant, 10 persons registered their names on the project page while others joined the training sessions but refused to register their names on the project page despite the pleas.
