Hello Tofeiku, thanks for submitting the final report for the Wiki Kata editathon. Even though this was the first time you ran such a competition, we are excited to learn that you attracted lots of attention and edited a considerable number of lemmas on Wiktionary. I am thankful for this well-organized event and the valuable contributions to the Malay Wiktionary. I have reviewed the report and have a few questions:

• In your proposal you mentioned that you would like to collaborate with non-governmental organizations. Did you collaborate with any of those?
• How did you track the participants’ contributions? Could you please provide a link with all the edited entries if any?
• Did you have any new editors from the indigenous communities? What is the current state of these indigenous language Wiktionaries on the Incubator?
• Are you planning to run similar events in the future?

@DSaroyan (WMF): Thank you also for accepting this report and also for giving me the grant to make this impactful programme. In regards with your questions:

• We have collaborated with AsyikFM, a government-owned aboriginal radio station. They help us by promoting the competition on air and online. One of the judges is an officer for the Semai language in MOE and the 2 other judges are from an association for their respective indigenous languages. We are hoping that we could start creating the Incubator project for these languages.
• We track the words from the Participants page. Most of the participants add the words by themselves but for some, we added it in behalf of them.
• The competition itself has attracted a lot of new editors from the indigenous communities. After the event, we do get some new editors a little but it is still a good sign as they are aware of the dictionary and are interested in editing. There are only 2 Wiktionaries in Incubator for Malaysian indigenous languages but we have few to none participants from those 2 languages. I am hoping that we could find people from the community to resurrect these two Incubators.
• Yes. I am hoping that I could organise such event in the future. It would be still about documenting the indigenous communities in Malaysia. I will be having a meetup with the Bajau Sama Language and Culture Association next week to discuss on starting the language in Incubator as they have over 700 words added in the Malay Wiktionary. I am considering to organise an event to teach on how to edit Wikipedia for the community and maybe give some incentives for committed editors like Internet data and other neccessities to create the Incubator.
