We propose to spend the remaining 125 USD for procuring gift cards for the three most active participants of the 2021 Book Month, which will run December 1-31, 2021. The 2020 Book Month was a huge success, and we believe rewarding the most active contributors will make this year's editathon even more successful.
We propose to spend the remaining funds as follows:
Item | Cost | Notes |
---|---|---|
1st place | $60 | |
2nd place | $30 | |
3rd place | $15 | |
Miscellaneous costs, including shipment | $20 | |
Total: | $125 |
We are proposing this change not only to increase interest in the Book Month, but also because it is rather difficult to receive funds in Uzbekistan. Moreover, we have come to realize that wiring money to an institution out of Uzbekistan is also challenging. Nataev talk 07:56, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
