Hello Kayz911, thank you so much for submitting this final report and for organizing the Western NC's 3rd Holocaust preservation edit-a-thon. I have reviewed the report and have the following questions and comments.

  • I am sorry that the Outreach Dashboard you set did not work properly. However, could you please provide at least approximate numbers of new editors and articles created/improved?
  • I am excited to see that the promotion of your event went well and that you have had more participants than you expected!
  • I acknowledge that it is super hard to train over 50 participants with only two people. You have done a great job in making this happen!
  • Finally, thanks for sharing the only photo from your event. I am hoping that next time you will have more supporting people and be able to take more photos.

Thank you again for your amazing work! We have reviewed your expense documentation and final report and accepted both. Your grant is now complete! Best regards, DSaroyan (WMF) (talk) 15:25, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • It has been quite some time so it will be an approximate, I'd say about 30 people ended up adding content to existing pages, 1 or 2 tried to submit articles during the event, and another 10-+5 put I suggested they work on their revisions a bit more in the sandbox. Some others just came out to learn about the wiki a bit more and discuss wiki in the classroom (i.e. teachers). I'd say on average most people contributed 1-2 paragraphs of work. So I'd estimate from past events that this would be between the 8-10k characters added. And we had 4-5 returning editions from previous edit a thons. Kayz911 (talk) 20:48, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
