Grants talk:TPS/Robert Radke/SMWCon Fall 2016
Hello @Robert Radke: The Participation Support Committee is glad to fund your participation in the SMWCon Fall 2016 on condition that you attended the event in your role as a volunteer and that your attendance is not tied to your paid work.
Please review the next steps for your grant as described in "How the program works". Please note that your post-event report must provide a link to an outcome from your participation. We recommend that you start planning your outcome now so you are prepared to submit it as part of your report, which is due 14 days after the event. Note that an outcome does not include the materials you prepare to present at the event (though we’d like you to link to those, too), but something that is created during or after the event because of your participation, such as a link to something new that was co-created by you and your fellow participants at the event, a blog post you wrote to share your experience with others after the event, or a learning pattern to teach others something you've learned at the event. If you choose to make a learning pattern, think creatively about what you learned.
Our Grants Administrator will be in touch with you about your grant. Thank you for work and we send our best wishes,

- @Robert Radke: Just checking in since we have not heard back from you. We reached out to you via email (from grantsadminwikimedia.org) on 5 October 2016. Kindly check your spam folder, if it was not delivered to your inbox. Did you attend the conference and deliver your talk? If yes, would you still like for WMF to reimburse you for your expenses listed on your submission? If you did not attend, please let us know so we can update your submission's status to 'withdrawn'. Looking forward to hearing from you. -- Thank you, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 00:21, 25 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hello @Jtud (WMF):, sorry for reporting so late. I attended the event and delivered the talk. I also made a description of what I showed (Link to Semantik Mediawiki). My whole expenses where 324,70€. It got a bit cheaper in total (some parts like travel got more expensive, the hotel was much cheaper).
- Thank you for your reply, Robert Radke! Did you receive the email sent to you? Please reply with the requested information. If not, kindly email me at grantsadminwikimedia.org, and I'll reply with the request for information so that we may draft your agreement. As for your report, is it ready for review? or would you prefer to wait until the podcast has been completed to submit it with a direct link? Additionally, if you haven't already done so, please send your documentation of expenditures to participationwikimedia.org. Your receipts, along with your signed agreement and bank details, are needed before your report is approved and reimbursement sent to you. Lastly, please see Muriel Staub (WMCH)'s comment above regarding the conditions of your TPS approval. Please reply and confirm that you meet these conditions. -- Thank you, JTud (WMF), Grants Administrator (talk) 16:35, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
