Grants talk:WM US-DC/Bootstrapping grant/Report/Interim
Report accepted
editThank you for the interim report. It is accepted.
As noted on the grant submission talk page and on the proposal itself, this extension to 30 September 2013 has been granted.
We do however have a question about this interim report. Now that Wikimania has come and gone, would you please explain the need for acquiring insurance? What activities do you anticipate that would make it worth spending this sum on insurance?

- We will be obtaining directors and officers insurance as a precautionary measure and as a good practice for a nonprofit organization. Note that we intended to insure the organization as a whole before and after Wikimania, with conference-specific insurance liability covered by a different budget. (During the conference, event liability insurance was handled through our conference planner.) Also, the $2,000 estimate in our original proposal is quite high, and there is a good chance that it will cost less. harej (talk) 19:16, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Page move
editHi, Harej: I moved this page to Report/Interim to make it more consistent with the way other reports have been named, and so that you could add the final report to the main Report page which links from the template on your grant submission. I hope that's OK, and I'm happy to discuss it or move it back if that created any problems. Cheers, Winifred Olliff (Grants Administrator) talk 00:06, 7 December 2013 (UTC)
