Change of Leadership and Contact Persons

• The group discussed the need for a leadership transition to enhance efficiency and engagement.
• A new leadership structure was proposed and approved:

Plans for the Year

Wikipedia Pages Wanting Pictures (WPWP) Campaign Grant Proposal

• The group agreed to submit a grant proposal to the Wikimedia Foundation to support the WPWP campaign.
• This initiative will focus on adding relevant images to Gungbe Wikipedia articles to improve content quality and engagement.
• A task force was set up to draft and submit the proposal by the next deadline.
• The group agreed that DonKevin will be responsible for submitting grant proposals on behalf of the user group.

Improving the Gungbe Wikipedia

• Members discussed strategies to increase article contributions and expand content.
• Community engagement efforts, including edit-a-thons and training sessions, were proposed.
• Partnerships with cultural institutions and local experts will be explored to enhance the authenticity of content.

SheSaid Campaign Participation

• The group decided to actively participate in the SheSaid campaign to improve Gungbe Wikiquote.
• Efforts will be made to collect and translate quotes from notable women to enrich Gungbe Wikiquote.
• Training sessions will be organized to encourage more contributions to this initiative.
