Explain your plan

edit

Tell us about how you contribute currently, and how you would contribute if WMF were to gift a used laptop to you.

am a contributor who joined in 2019 . I contribute to diverse Wiki platforms as Wikipedia both English and Kinyarwanda, aside that I am a team leader and a founder of  Wikimedia User Group Rwanda. I have been involved in different wikimedia related projects such as : Wikimedia Strategy Salon in Uganda , WLM 2019 in Uganda, East Africa Strategy Summit 2019,WLA IN 2020 in Rwanda and Uganda, Wikigap 2019 and 2020 in Uganda, Wiki4 Refugees in Uganda(made it among the top 3 winners),WPWP campaign in Rwanda of which I emerged a winner , 1lib1ref campaign in Uganda and was a lead Organizer of WLE 2020 in Rwanda, am also actively involved in bridging the gender gap via the Women in Red project. I am also involved in several offline projects as a community leader in Rwanda in edit-a-thons,2030 strategy Salons, Decolonising the internet project.

Once gifted a laptop by the WMF, my contributions and the user group will improve very fast, currently my performance is limited because I often use an android phone which is hectic since some functions are not user frenziedly on phones, also I use internet cafe which is expensive based on the time needed to contribute to some projects.
