Igbo Wikimedia Storytelling (Vlogging)
OVERVIEW
editIGBO WIKIMEDIA STORYTELLING (VLOGGING) is a Wikicommons project that is aimed at make digital records of ideas and thoughts published in video format, ideas and thoughts of a particular place, event, festival, occasions, community, people historic area, delicacies etc.
Igbo Wikimedia storytelling (vlogging) would involve participants to make documentaries that explains and portray the Igbo culture, documentaries ranging from festivals, traditional occasions, making of traditional delicacies, a group of people, historic events, historic places and lots more.

edit- Launch and discussion: The event kicks off with a training on storytelling, vlogging and how to successful create a documentary. This opening session will bring together participants to learn how to edit videos,add sound tracks, text and how to tell go about the documentary.

October 5th - November 5th, 2024
edit- Contest: Following the training and discussion, the primary focus shifts to the contest on Wikicommons. Participants from the Igbo community, as well as other interested individuals, will actively engage in making and posting videos/documentaries on Wikicommons. The goal is to promote the Igbo community on Wiki using visuals.
Post-event
edit- Review of contest: After the event, the videos created and posted will be reviewed and criticed by the Critics(Jury) .
- Contest winners will be announced.
