Objective
editEditing articles on Wikipedia need a series of learning sessions and practice. Most people fail to edit an article for the first time when the attend a editing workshop. So there is a need of hand holding needed for the new editors after the attend a session and go back. It is essential to show them the actual editing process in really simple manner so that they can practice the same and learn. Simple audio/video tutorials and handouts are easier to understand and implement rather than text based conversation. This projects aims on imparting the process of editing for new editors. A series of multilingual videos will be created and shared with the community which they can use while reaching out to participants of workshops they conduct or new editors.
Tasks for community members
edit- Discussion of involving experienced wikipedians for the Video Tutorial project
- Translation of subtitle text and voiceover script
- Using the video during outreach session and asking new editors to watch it and give feedback
- Improving particular areas of the video
- Contributing for recording voice for voiceover
- Support for tools and techniques (which software to be used for recording, editing, etc)

After clicking the "Edit" button you can add information in the article. You should know that you can add any information which is not there in the article, but please do not add any wrong information.
Scroll down after adding information to the article and write a brief summary of what changes you have made.

Click on 'Edit'. Go to the line where you want to add a reference link. Click on the Book icon, it will open a small window. Copy the news article link and paste it in the the small box like this. Now click on 'Save'. Your link appears in the reference section! Simple, right?
