Big Iraqi Wikimedians Project with Mict

Currently we are working on a huge funded projects in cooperation with Mict (Media in Cooperation and Transition). The Project include Planned events for Iraqi Wiki volunteers to meet and discuss how the project should be run, how the funds could be best used, and exactly what goals we all have as an organization. This was planned in order to make sure that the Wiki Group has control over the project while its running and that we do not pursue activities that you all find unproductive. It is our goal to transfer as much decision making over to Wiki volunteers without overloading already busy volunteers--we are very sensitive to the time restraints that many Wikimedians have and therefore want to find the right distribution for roles and responsibilities within the project. The project includes as well three "Partnership Events" which were envisioned to be Hackathons at Universities with which the Wiki group would like to develop. partnerships
