Deliberation

  • Discussion on the Karavali Wikimedians Annual Report 2023-24
The report preparation is to be completed by the end of this month.
All members are encouraged to contribute their work and submit photographs for inclusion in the report.
  • Updates on the Forthcoming Tuluvas Aati Month Documenting Education Program
The program aims to focus on students and local community knowledge transfer events.
Events will highlight Tuluvas' cultural history and are scheduled for:
11 January 2025 at SDM College, Ujire
14 January 2025 at Belthangady
The initiative is expected to reach over 250 participants.

  • Updates on Kannada Wikipedia Project
Pavanaja provided updates on the ongoing Quality Improvement and Community Development efforts for Kannada Wikipedia.
  • Discussion on Wikipedia Asian Month
Led by Santhosh Notagar, the discussion covered key highlights and member contributions.
  • Kannada Language Workshop
~aanzx shared insights on the upcoming workshop focused on promoting the Kannada and Tulu language wiki projects.
  • Bharathesha suggested that, starting from the next meeting, a moderator should be either voluntarily chosen or nominated to facilitate the meeting, create the agenda, and write the deliberation notes. This approach aims to involve all members of the community.
  • One or two monthly Wiki talks will be organized to educate community members on various topics, featuring speakers from diverse backgrounds, including intra-wiki community members, inter-wiki communities, and global guest contributors.
