WAYS TO GET DATA
Survey Tools
Surveys are an important method for gathering information about your participants and their experiences. You can collect:
- Attributes like their username or their birth year
- Attitudes, like what motivates someone to edit Wikipedia
- Behaviors, like how many times someone edited Wikipedia in the last month
We have many tools that can help you build a survey. These include:
- The learning module Designing Effective Questions
- The Question Bank - A list of survey questions, organized by the goal of your survey and the goal of your program.
- Qualtrics is a great tool for large scale surveys.
