MedinaStories is a project that aims to promote the role of cultural heritage in peacebuilding in the Maghreb region.
It consists in creating a set of free educational materials about religious and cultural diversity in the Maghreb Medinas listed as UNESCO World Heritage, through a participatory approach.
The project final outcome is a digital application for web and mobile, which content was created through collaborative activities: an edit-a-thon on Wikipedia and a photography contest on Wikimedia Commons.
MedinaStories was selected in the Arab World Heritage Young Professionals Forum post-forum call for projects. The forum was organized by UNESCO and UNOCT.
